Beacon Orders

The orders functionality of the Beacon integration allows for auto-generated material orders to be sent directly to the Beacon branch of your choosing. Before getting started, make sure that your Beacon Pro+ account is linked to SumoQuote.

Set Up Level Recommendation

We recommend that you have your account set up to at least Level 2. and have created a Beacon Price List

Submitting a Beacon Material Order

Orders can only be created after a quote is signed.

The items selected during signing will be added into the created order.

To Send a Material Order to Beacon

1. Open the project with a signed quote that needs an order created.
2. In the report box of the signed quote, click the Create Order button.
3. In the new window that pops up, click Direct to Distributor.
4. Complete the Order Details section of the order form as required.
5. In the order body, Select SKU and Change SKU allow you to specify a specific SKU in Beacon's catalog for each line item.
6. Hide any sections that are not relevant to the distributor by toggling them off.
7. Click the Review button, at the bottom or top of the page, to see the completed order before sending.
8. Click Place order to send the order to your chosen Beacon branch.
