Where Tokens can be Added

Tokens can be added to individual reports and saved in a layout or template for your whole team to use!

  • Introduction page (customer and salesperson tokens)
  • Terms and Conditions page (customer signature and initials tokens only)
    • Can only be added & edited within a layout
    • Tokens are only available on the Summary page.
  • Warranty page (salesperson tokens)
    • Can only be added & edited within a layout
  • Custom page (all available tokens)
    • Tokens are only available on the Text page.
  • Emails (customer and salesperson tokens)
  • Scope of Work (customer and salesperson tokens)
  • Materials Page: Notes (customer and salesperson tokens)

Add Tokens to a Layout

  1. Go to Configuration > Account Settings > Layouts > Reports
  2. Either under My Layouts or Shared Layouts select the Pencil icon beside the layout you want to edit.
  3. Navigate to either the Introduction page, the Terms and Conditions page, the Warranty page, or Add a Custom page.
    1. If you choose to Add Custom page, be sure to select Text Page.
  4. In the text box, put your cursor where you want a token to go.
  5. Just above the text box, in the row where the formatting options are located, select Insert Token.
  6. From the dropdown menu, select the token you wish to insert into your text.
  7. Apply any formatting you want the token to have and click on View Page in the top right corner of the page to see what your tokens will look like when in use.
  8. If you want to save any of these pages as a template for use in another layout or report, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save as Template
  9. When your edits are complete, click on Publish in the grey bar at the top of your screen to save your edits and make them available for use in this layout.

Create Order layouts using tokens as well!

  1. Go to Configuration > Account Settings > Layouts > Orders
  2. Either under My Layouts or Shared Layouts select the Pencil icon beside the layout you want to edit.
  3. Navigate to either the Scope of Work page or the Materials page and scroll down to Notes.
  4. Continue following steps 4 - 8 above.

Add Tokens to a Template

  1. Go to Configuration > Account Settings > Templates > Reports or Orders
  2. Either under My Layouts or Shared Layouts select the Pencil icon beside the template you want to edit:
    1. Reports: Introduction, Custom Page Text, Email, or Invoice Email
    2. Orders: Scope of Work, Materials Page, Order Email
  3. In the text box, put your cursor where you want a token to go.
  4. Just above the text box, in the row where the formatting options are located, select Insert Token.
  5. From the dropdown menu, select the token you wish to insert into your text and apply any formatting you want the token to have.
  6. When your edits are complete, click on Save Changes in the top right corner to save your edits.

Add Tokens to a Report

  1. Open the project you want to update and open your report for editing.
  2. Navigate to either the Introduction page or Add a Custom page.
    1. If you choose to Add Custom page, be sure to select Text Page.
  3. In the text box, put your cursor where you want a token to go.
  4. Just above the text box, in the row where the formatting options are located, select Insert Token.
  5. From the dropdown menu, select the token you wish to insert into your text.
  6. Apply any formatting you want the token to have and click on View Page in the top right corner of the page to see what your tokens will look like when in use.
