Templates Overview

Templates are pre-saved content that can be accessed in your report.

You can save templates for text pages, Quote Details (line items), Authorization pages (with upgrades), email content, and more.

Templates Overview

Create a Template in Account Settings

  1. Go to Configuration > Account Settings > Templates > Reports
  2. Click on Create Template.
  3. Enter a template name, what type of template you are creating, and if you want to share this with your entire team.
  4. Click on Create template.
  5. Begin creating your text and when finished, click save Changes in the top right corner.

Edit a Template in Account Settings

  1. Go to Configuration > Account Settings > Templates > Reports
  2. Select either My Templates or Shared Templates.
  3. Click on the type of template you want to edit and a drop down of all the templates of that type will appear.
  4. Click on the pencil icon to edit your template.
  5. You can also click on the duplicate icon to make a copy of your template and modify it instead of starting from scratch.
  6. Make your edits and then click on Save changes in the top right corner.

  1. Open any project, and open a report for editing.
  2. Navigate to a page that utilizes templates (Ex. Introduction page, Quote Details page, Authorization page or a custom text page) and click on View templates.
  3. Select the template you wish to edit and click the pencil icon.
  4. Make your changes and then click Save changes in the top right corner.
