Integrate your CompanyCam account to access CompanyCam photos inside of SumoQuote. CompanyCam is a photo-capture and job site management tool. Learn more about CompanyCam here.

Setting Up the CompanyCam Integration

Integrate CompanyCam with SumoQuote

  1. Go to Configuration > Integrations
  2. Scroll down the page until you reach Available apps and click on the CompanyCam button.
  3. Enter your CompanyCam login credentials.
  4. CompanyCam will now show up under Connected apps.

Using CompanyCam with SumoQuote

Create a Project Using CompanyCam

  1. Click the Create new project button on the project home page.
  2. Select the Link to a CompanyCam project option.
  3. Search for the project name or address and click enter to complete the search.
  4. Select the project you want to link to and click Link to this CompanyCam project.
  5. A new project will be generated using the contact details from CompanyCam. Click on + Create a new report or Create from layout to create a new report.
  6. Pull pictures from CompanyCam into your report on the Title page and Inspection page.

Add CompanyCam to an Existing Project

  1. Open the project you would like to link to CompanyCam.
  2. Select the CompanyCam icon in the top right corner under Measurements.
  3. Search for the project name or address and click enter to complete the search.
  4. Select the project you want to link and click on Link to this CompanyCam Project.

To Unlink CompanyCam from a project:

  1. Open the project you want to unlink.
  2. Click on the CompanyCam icon in the top right corner under Measurements.
  3. Follow the prompts to disconnect your project.
  4. You can link to a different CompanyCam project or leave it unlinked.

Contact information updated in CompanyCam after a project has been created in SumoQuote, will not be automatically updated in your SumoQuote project.

Updates to phone number, email address, and home address will need to be independently updated in the SumoQuote project.

Using CompanyCam with Your CRM (JobNimbus or Leap)

Create a Project that is Linked to a CRM and CompanyCam

  1. On the Project home page, click on Create new project and select Link to a [JobNimbus or Leap] job.
  2. Enter you job or contact name/address/project and click enter.
  3. Select the job or contact you wish to create a project for and click Link to this [JobNimbus or Leap] job or contact.
  4. When your project details page generates, there will be icons in the top right corner under the Measurements button. Your CRM will have a green checkmark and be in colour to show the project is linked. Find the CompanyCam icon to the right of the CRM icons and click on it.
  5. Search for your CompanyCam project by project name or address, clicking enter to complete the search.
  6. Select the project you want to link to and click on Link to this CompanyCam project.
  7. Your project is now connected to your CRM and CompanyCam. Create a new report to access your photos through CompanyCam!

Linking in the opposite order (CompanyCam and then your CRM) will prevent your signed quotes from being sent back to your CRM.
